Kurling



Run in a local hall each week prior to the pandemic, our Kurling Club was great fun. The game is played on a wooden floor and can be enjoyed by even the most frail or disabled clients.


Regular, gentle exercise has been shown to increase strength and mobility and help to reduce the incidence of falls. Kurling provides a fantastic opportunity to make new friends and the afternoon finishes with light refreshments.


We currently vary our Kurling afternoons with attendance at other villlage hall events. In the summer, when the weather is better (hopefully!) our Kurling clients like to get Out-and-About in the community every 2 weeks...
